Modern paper capacitors are not easy to be aged due to their hard plastic shell and resin sealed packaging. They are basically working in low-voltage area and have relatively high withstand voltage value, so they are less likely to be damaged. In case of electrical damage, the general symptom is that the capacitor surface is heated.
